What a great interview. I’d no idea that it took that long to bring a great product to market. I’d always just assumed that if you had a product design it would simple matter of just finding a manufacturer and getting on with it. Obviously manufacturing in America is capable of making the product we just don’t seem geared to enabling smaller creative possibilities.
FYI: The unfurling of the tea leaf you and Kevin both described is referred to as, “The Agony of the Leaf.” When people call and ask what I’m doing I say, “Witnessing Agony.”

Wow, great interview. I have a sorapot myself and am totally happy with it. It was interesting to learn more about the design proces behind it.
I love the new speakers you designed, and when they come out it woul be cool to see a interview like this about the speakers.
