Harnessing the Gift Fair’s Waste Stream
I’ve been to a few tradeshows with my work at this point, and I always find an obscene amount of waste as booths are constructed. It’s all the more ridiculous because these booths are taken down after a few days.
I see potential beauty in this waste stream though. I’m currently showing the Ceramic Speakers at Accent on Design, and arrived on set-up day with only my hammer, Japanese saw, ruler and sketchbook. I scavenged through the materials that other exhibitors were throwing out and designed/ constructed my booth on the spot.
PSFK visited me while I was building and designing.

I like the frugality your booth expresses. Keep it up!
